About Luke

I am honored to serve as Chair of HFA. I am on the scholarship, finance and governance committees, and enjoy contributing to each. It has been a great experience learning about the organization and how HFA operates to serve our community, and its history. I have spent the most time contributing to the governance committees restructuring plan to conform to non-profit best practices. At my local chapter, I am a co-chair of the fundraising committee and member of the governance and scholarship committees.

What drives you to serve on the HFA Board?

My wife and son have blood disorders, HFA has helped our family with its programs that support the bleeding disorder community.

Do you have a favorite quote or words to live by?

The harder I work the luckier I get.

What do you do to truly relax?

I like to travel, and would love to take my family on an international vacation when it is safe to do so. We miss the beach.

Is there something unique that most people don’t know about you?

I was in a super bowl commercial with Mike Tyson.
